Snicker Date Bark Posted on April 21, 2024April 21, 2024 This is my go to snack when I want to indulge and I don’t have a ninja creami recipe prepped. The dates in this recipe give it the nice chewy texture, mixed with the almonds and topped off with almond butter and sweet melted chocolate. It is so delicious that it is like crack for me. I have to limit myself to three pieces! There are a bunch of varieties that you can do with this, including crushed peppermints or dark chocolate; but this is my OG recipe for the freezer ready healthy dessert. Ingredients: 1/2 cup Bake Believe or Lily chocolate chips 1 tsp coconut oil 1 cup of crushed almonds or peanuts 1/2 cup of peanut butter or almond butter 8oz of pitted dates Instructions: Flatten out the dates on a cookie sheet and lay them down in a square. I add parchment paper under and over them and then push them together with something heavy like my sandwich press. Grab your peanut or almond butter and smear it all over the dates Chop your nuts and add them evenly over the almond/peanut butter smear Lastly, take your chocolate chips of choice and add a little coconut oil and nuke for 30 seconds at a time in the microwave. Keep reheating until liquid and evenly melted. Add it on top of your bark and put it in the freezer for 10minutes Cut it up into pieces (I used a pizza cutter) and then store in freezer for up to 1 month (I promise you it wont last that long in there) Enjoy! I never grew up eating a lot of chili in Europe but found this magical concoction at Wendy’s one day in college (lol!) and it has evolved from there. I make it… Read More
Recipes Thai Lettuce Wraps Posted on February 5, 2024 I absolutely love thai lettuce wrap. In probably an unhealthy way as I devour them when we are out for dinner. Good thing my boyfriend doesn’t care for the asian flavors; more for me! I often make these when friends come over as well and since they take a bit… Read More
