Immunity Booster Shot Posted on February 10, 2024 It’s that time of the year… where everyone gets cooties and loves to share. I also have a toddler in daycare, so this happens 24/7 but I feel like it’s heightened lately. Here’s a quick little immunity booster shot that tastes great, is kid approved and can keep those pesky cooties away* *I am not a doctor, so don’t go suing me if you drink this and still get a cold. People are weird so I feel like I need to leave a disclaimer lol Ingredients: 3 whole oranges, peeled 2 whole lemons, peeled 2″ of ginger, peeled 1″ of tumeric, peeled –> Optional, one apple if you need some extra sweetness Instructions: If you have a juicer, throw everything in the juicer and you are done! If you have a blender, throw everything in the blender, grab a cheese cloth or strainer and strain out the pulp and store the juice. The juice stays good in the fridge for about 3 days. It will separate, so just make sure to shake it before you drink it! You can add manuka honey as well. I splurge and buy the expensive Manuka brand but a home made honey from your local farmers market is also a great option (And can help keep local allergies away!) If you are not used to ginger, start with 1″ as it can get pretty strong, pretty quickly. My daughter loves to help with juicing and you have to check out my Instagram to see the video of her. It’s just the cutest – but I may be bias 🙂 Enjoy and let me know what you think! Recipes Healthy MealsJuiceRecipesJuicingJuicingRecipesRecipesToddlerApprovedMeals

German Salad Dressing Posted on February 4, 2024February 5, 2024 I moved to the US in 1998. Prior to that, I didn’t know that salad dressing is sold premade… because that’s just not how the Germans roll. We strive to make our own and boy did I get spoiled. I quickly learned the words ranch, 1000 island (Still not sure… Read More
