Easy seasoned vegetable sides Posted on February 14, 2024 Sometimes going to Walmart is quite the adventure because you never know what you are going to see of find. But lately, I have been taking my time going shopping there. My local super Walmart has really stepped up and have a wide variety of gluten free options as well as other random spices and flour alternatives that I like to bake with. So recently I found these awesome seasoning blends by Urban Accents. They are produced by Stonewall Kitchen and are busting with flavor! This is a great quick option when you have some veggies but don’t really know what seasoning you want to use. I had some delicata squash, which is my favorite squash and sometimes hard to find. I love how little it is and I don’t have to man handle it to break it apart (Cough cough spaghetti squash). I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with the delicata squash, but I also had some leftover raw broccoli that needed to go. I remembered these seasoning blends and quickly made a yummy side. This recipe is super versatile as you can use a variety of vegetables and seasoning options. See my combination below and let me know what you think! Ingredients: 2 small delicata squash 2 cups of brocolli florets 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil 1 seasoning packet of your favorite Urban Accent seasoning blends I chose the sesame garlic for this recipe! Instructions: Wash and cut up your vegetables in bite sized pieces Throw in a bowl, mix with olive oil and sprinkle on the seasoning packet Mix well and put on a cookie sheet with parchment paper and a hot oven at 400*F Cook for 20-25 minutes and then set the oven to broil for an additional 5 minutes if you like a little char on your veggies. You could also do this in the air fryer at a similar temp and time. Just check the veggies periodically to make sure they are soft when you poke them. Throw back in the same bowl, stir a bit and then serve! Enjoy 🙂 Recipes Healthy DinnerHealthy MealsMeal prepRecipes
