Coffee Protein Breakfast Smoothie Posted on March 4, 2024 This is my quick go to breakfast option when we are running late or I am not yet super hungry. I drink the majority of this but my daughter likes to take a few sips as well. Feel free to omit the espresso if you have a little one that shares a good portion of the smoothie with you. My daughter sneaks a couple sips here and there so I am not concerned. Ingredients: 1 cup your choice of milk (I use fairlife for extra protein) 1 scoop of your choice protein powder 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1/4 cup rolled oats (I use the extra protein ones here too) 1 cup ice cubes 3-4 shots of espresso 1 scoop of collagen (optional) 1 cup yogurt (Greek/yogurt drink/whatever you have in the fridge) Instructions: Blend all together and check for taste. Some people like it more thick (Add more ice cubes) and others more drinkable. Totally up to you. You can also get fancy and add chocolate chips (I like the Bake Believe or Lily brand as they use stevia for their source of sweetness). Some folks throw in spinach as well since you can’t taste it. Or even cauliflower rice! I haven’t tried that one but the recipe above is a solid staple in my household. Enjoy! Recipes Breakfast mealsHealthy MealsRecipes
